These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Revlo ("Revlo," "we," "us") governing your use of the Revlo app and related services. By downloading or using Revlo, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. This is the End User License Agreement (EULA) for Revlo; it applies in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The app and your license

Revlo turns photos of real cars you spot into a private collection of digital cards. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store terms.

You agree not to: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or resell the app; use it to break the law or infringe others' rights; interfere with or abuse our systems (including automated or excessive requests to our identification service); or attempt to defeat the app's authenticity checks.

Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of the photos you capture. By using Revlo, you grant us the limited license needed to process your photos to identify the car and generate your card art, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you capture, and you agree to:

  • Photograph real cars only. Revlo is for real vehicles in the world — photos of screens, printouts, posters, or toy cars are rejected by design.
  • Respect people and privacy. Don't capture identifiable people or license plates, and don't photograph on private property without permission.
  • Not misuse the service or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Purchases and subscriptions

Revlo is free to use. Some optional features are available through in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region; applicable taxes may apply.

Film (consumable purchases)

Cards are developed — given their studio portrait — by spending film, sold as one-time consumable rolls: 12 develops for $2.99, 24 for $4.99, or 36 for $5.99 (or the equivalents shown in your local App Store). New collectors receive a free starter roll, and more film can be earned through play. Purchased film never expires and is not refunded for cards you choose not to develop. Developing a card is optional: a card that is not developed is kept, scored and permanent exactly like any other.

Revlo Pro (auto-renewable subscription)

Revlo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered at $4.99 per month (or the equivalent shown in your local App Store). Pro adds 25% bonus develops on every roll of film you buy, a free roll of film each month, a higher weekly catch allowance than the free tier, the spec dossier on your cards, and the verified PRO mark. You can cancel anytime. Subscribers who joined under an earlier Pro plan keep the terms they subscribed under.

Catching is subject to a weekly allowance on both tiers, which exists to keep the service sustainable and which the overwhelming majority of collectors never reach. Film and catches are separate; developing never affects whether a catch counts.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

Garage capacity

Your garage is unlimited on every tier, at no cost — every car you catch is kept, on the free tier as well as Pro.

Two one-time purchases previously sold extra garage capacity: Full Garage ($2.99) and +10 Slots ($4.99 per pack). Both are retired and no longer sold. If you bought either, it remains permanently honored on your account and restores on a new device through the App Store — though garage capacity is now unlimited for everyone regardless.

Billing and refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are billed by Apple and governed by the App Store terms. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases. If a film purchase is refunded, the undeveloped balance from that purchase is removed from your account.

Intellectual property

Revlo, its name, logo, card designs, generated artwork, and software are owned by us and protected by law. Your license to use the app does not transfer any of these rights. The cards in your collection are for your personal use.

Identification is best-effort

Revlo uses AI to identify cars and generate card details, and the app relies on third-party services to do so. Identifications, rarities, and specifications may be inaccurate or unavailable, and the service may be interrupted. Revlo is provided for entertainment; don't rely on it as an authoritative source about any vehicle.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revlo and Daniel Tapia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Revlo at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app or on this page. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
